CHAT will focus on exploring how children develop their own sense of self over time. When kids are able to set their own goals, have their own thoughts, and pave their own path, they are more likely to develop high self-esteem and manage challenges that come with daily life.  We’ll start with a short presentation based on the recent New York Times article: How to Get a Job at Google.
In our society, we often focus on external measure of success, such as GPA, test scores, and overall academic achievement.  While these are valid and important, we also need to focus on teaching our children the skills identified in this article: Academic Humility, leadership, adaptability, collaboration, and a love to learn.
