The date, Saturday, November 10, has been set and a keynote speaker has been selected for the 2012 Annual MCGT Conference, co-sponsored by MCGT and the University of St. Thomas, with support from TIAA-CREF’s College Savings Program. This year we’ll again be at the University of St. Thomas’ Minneapolis downtown campus at 11th St. and LaSalle Ave. There will be break-out sessions on a variety of topics for adults, full day and half-day classes for kids kindergarten through seventh grade, and an array of interesting exhibits and information.

MCGT invites parents, counselors and other professionals, gifted/talented resource teachers and coordinators, classroom teachers, administrators and others who live or work with gifted/talented kids of all ages to submit proposals for presentations on topics such as characteristics, education, needs (social, emotional, intellectual, academic), parenting and advocacy.
