CHAT Night: Advocacy for Gifted Kids in School and Beyond, hosted by SPAN (Synergy/SAGE Parent Action Network)

Tuesday, October 8, 7:00pm, Westwood Elementary School, 5370 Westwood Dr SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372

SPAN (Synergy/SAGE Parent Action Network)’s first meeting of the year featuring former MCGT President and Gifted Consultant Carol Malueg. Carol will speak on advocacy for gifted kids in schools and beyond.

CHAT Nights are dedicated to informally connecting parents of gifted children, helping them find other parents in similar situations with an ear to listen, experiences to share, and solutions to offer. Each CHAT Night starts with a brief (10-15 minutes) presentation by a facilitator on a designated topic of interest followed by small group discussion. The format of CHAT Nights is intended to be casual, rather than structured. CHAT Nights are free and open to the public. Information on upcoming CHAT Nights, including topics, locations, and availability of child care, can be found in the list of events below and also in MCGT’s Outlook newsletter.

All are welcome. More details at: https://mcgt.net/priorlake/

Looking for more SPAN events?

We will be hosting several informal “coffee” meetings during the school year where anyone can stop by to talk with SPAN Board members who have “been there” about any questions/concerns you have related to your child. We will schedule exact dates/times for these closer to the actual dates (which will be in November, January, and March). See all of our meeting dates on our website www.mcgt.net/priorlake .
