CHAT Night: Supporting Your Child’s Social Emotional Needs

Thursday, February 21, 2019 – 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location: Falcon Ridge Middle School, Room 257 (second floor) , 12900 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley, MN 55122 (the entrance door is in the “back of the school”)

CHAT Night Topic: Supporting Your Child’s Social Emotional Needs, hosted by MCGT’s RAVE Chapter

Carol Malueg, MCGT Board Member and SENG facilitator, will facilitate the CHAT night discussion of gifted kids and their social emotional characteristics and needs. Explore the asynchrony and social emotional characteristics of gifted children and discuss parenting strategies to assist with guiding them through the world.

CHAT stands for Connect, Help, Advocate, and Talk. CHAT nights are dedicated to informally connecting parents of advanced learners and gifted students. Following a short presentation on the topic, parents discuss and share experiences and resources.

Please share information on this CHAT night with anyone who might be interested. MCGT members and non-members are all welcome.
