Edina Community Center, Room 348 (Professional Library), 5701 Normandale Rd, Edina, MN 55424
This is open to any parent with a highly gifted child, no other criteria required. This may be defined by testing, feedback from educators, or your own observations and assessment as a parent. The purpose is to share experiences and receive support and ideas from others who have children like yours. The group will decide topics for future meetings. We will meet regularly, approximately every 6 weeks.
We’ve had great turnout this year with a variety people – those with small children, middle years, high school. We’ve had parents who are brand-new to the whole gifted thing and others who’ve been at it a long time. Those with kids who are quite highly gifted and those with kids who are off the charts. The exchanges end up being helpful to everyone. So please know you are welcome.
There is no obligation to attend regularly – come when you can!
