January 2014 CHAT Night

talkingThe January CHAT night will be held on Thursday 16 January 2014, from 6:30p.m. to 8:00p.m. Asynchronous development, being “out of sync” with the external world and internally, is the focus of our discussion.  This hallmark characteristic of gifted individuals often poses challenges to the gifted child and for those who love them.  Join us to explore the ways our kids may be “out of sync” and to share ideas about parenting these exceptional and intriguing children.
Suggested pre-reading is “Asynchronous Development” by Jean Goerss available on the SENG website (http://www.sengifted.org/) in the Resource Articles Library.  A direct link to the articled is http://www.sengifted.org/archives/articles/asynchronous-developmen.
