The 2015 MCGT Giftedness 101 Mini-Conference is an introduction to topics of interest to those who live and work with gifted children. If you think your child is gifted or identification has been made by school staff or another professional, the mini-conference is a good place to begin your journey of knowledge, understanding, and support for your child.
When: Saturday, April 18, 2015, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. (Check-in from 9:00 am to 9:30 am)
Where: Edina Community Center, 5701 Normandale Rd., in rooms 311, 313, 329, 332, and 334 near the northeast corner of the third floor
Directions: Highway 100 to 50th street exit, take east service road south about a half-mile to Edina Community Center (3 story brick building, former high school)
What: Three one-hour sessions: Six speakers will each present their topic twice. The schedule with topics and speakers will be posted on the website.
Books which may be purchased at the MCGT Book Table will include a variety of topics about gifted kids and families, their education, and parenting,
No childcare or children’s program will be available.

Cost: suggested donation, $10 for members; $15 suggested donation for non-members (pay member rate if you join MCGT with your registration; $5 suggested donation for second adult in the same family; $5 for lunch sandwich from Jimmy Johns
