Special Topic: Navigating the PSEO Path with Universities’ Admission Counselors
Is Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) in your child’s future? Ever wonder how to navigate the process or where your child might fit best? Maybe you have wondered if your junior high student (or younger) could take a college class? How would that work? How would that affect PSEO options later on?

We have asked Admissions Counselors from the University of Minnesota, North Hennepin Community College and University of Northwestern to come share how PSEO works on their campuses. Whether you are looking far ahead or planning for next year come join us and hear directly from the admissions counselors you and your student could be working with. They will walk us through the process and be available for questions after. Both students and parents are welcome!

Join us on Monday, November 19th, 2018 (every third Monday of the month) for the MCGT Homeschool Chapter monthly meeting.

Homeschooling is a difficult task, let alone homeschooling a GT kid! Are you not sure where to start? On the edge of giving up homeschooling? You are not alone! Come join your fellow parents to take on this sleepless journey together! Of course, if you are already seeing some light on your path, please don’t let your wonderful homeschooling experience go to waste, come share with latecomers!

Come share, complain, de-stress, regain your sanity or just have some coffee, tea, chocolate and sweets! We love your voice and presence! It takes a village to raise a kid, it takes an understanding and resourceful village to raise a GT kid. Tissues, breathing bags, shoulders and hugs are provided!

6:30 – 7:00pm – Board Meeting. (Members are welcome to attend.)

7:00 – 8:30pm – General Meeting: Special Topic- PSEO Talk with Admission Counselor, Q&A. (Open to all current and prospective MCGT members of all chapters.)
